Wilsthorpe School is hosting the Summer Music Festival on Wednesday 3rd July where music students from all year groups will be performing songs from the 1960s on an outdoor stage.

To celebrate 55 years since 1969 and the release of The Beatles’ classic albums Abbey Road and Let it Be; Wilsthorpe is celebrating by staging our own Woodstock festival with performances from students in Years 7 – 13 playing classic tunes form the 1960s. If you’re a fan of Nancy Sinatra, The Kinks, Jimi Hendrix, The Monkees, Joni Mitchell, Motown or The Beatles then this event will be right up your street.

There will be drinks and ice creams available onsite but you will need to bring your own chairs or picnic blankets as this will be an outdoor event, starting at 6:00pm. Alcohol is not permitted on site.
