During Year 9, students are supported to make some curriculum choices for themselves, ready for the start of GCSE courses in Year 10.
Parents and current Year 9’s in the academic year 2026-27 are invited to an Options Evening in the week commencing 1st March 2027. Parents and students will be invited to this event which offers advice and an overview of this year’s options process.
In Year 9 students choose three ‘Options’ to study in Years 10 and 11. These supplement the core GCSE Maths, English and Science subjects that all students will study. For those students and their families in Year 9, an outline of the key dates for this process is given below. More information will be given to students and families on 2nd March 2027 at the Options Evening. Save the date!
