During a month showcasing sport on a world stage, Wilsthorpe students demonstrated their own sporting prowess at the annual Sports day on the 3rd July.
This event highlighted some of the many great strengths of Wilsthorpe school. Teamwork and sportsmanship were of the highest standard from both competitors and supporters, the whole school enjoying the competition and the spectacle.
Real commitment from athletes ensured records were broken and many students registered ‘personal bests’ for their nominated events.
