On the 1st of April students from year 7,8 and 9 split across 3 teams took part in a Cyber security challenge hosted by Cyber first (a government backed and qualification accredited initiative).
Each team had one hour to complete as many questions and puzzles as they could using teamwork and problem solving. Each team did incredibly well, with the year 9 team finishing all but one question.
This meant the School came 3rd place out of all the schools in ‘England’ that participated and 5th place overall out of hundreds of schools across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. This is the first time the school have taken part and we look forward to building on this success next year.
