Katie recently delivered a presentation at the Hub gallery in Sleaford for the Articulation prize.
This national prize invites students to deliver a 10-minute presentation on a work of art, architecture or artefact in front of an audience and adjudicator at galleries and museums across the country, culminating in a grand final in London.
Katie was up first and immediately brought the audience on board for her engaging presentation about the Hampton Court clock. She was given some challenging questions by the adjudicator which she answered confidently and further showed the depth of her research on the topic.
The feedback from the adjudicator Dr L.Pucci – Assistant professor in Art History, University of Nottingham commented on Katies engagement with the audience and her contemporary delivery of a well-researched historical presentation.
She missed out on a place in the final, but her presentation was certainly very strong and we are immensely proud of her achievement.
Katie has now been invited to join the Articulation alumni which gives her opportunities for paid work experience and some of the country’s largest galleries, the opportunity to speak in public, write for publications and join training and mentoring schemes.
