On Thursday 3rd July 2025, Wilsthorpe and Friesland schools are hosting the Long Eaton Legends Summer Music Festival.
It will take place on the Wilsthorpe School field and include performances of legendary musicians from across the ages by students from both schools.
After the resounding success of last year’s 1960s Summer Music Festival, our talented musicians from year 7-13 are back to perform legendary hits from classic artists from across the years.
There will also be a freshly baked pizza van and an ice cream truck on top of PTA selling refreshments but you’re welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks if you wish, however there is no alcohol permitted on site.
We recommend you bring with you a camping chair or picnic blanket and an umbrella in case it rains as this is an outdoor event. Parking is available but is limited so if you can walk to the venue then please do.

Doors will open at 5:30pm and the performance will start at 6pm with a rough finish time of 8:30pm.
